In this section you will find information regarding Blood Borne Viruses specifically relating to Hepatitis B and C and HIV/AIDS
All ISSU18 staff have been trained in using dry blood spot testing which means you could be tested for BBV’s by your ISSU18 worker. This process can be quite complex however we have a BBV pathway in ISSU18 so that staff are fully aware of what needs to be done so that you get the best and most efficient service. We understand the anxiety this process can bring and therefore will accompany you through this cycle including attending G.P appointments with you, or going to the specialist BBV appointments should you require these. We will endeavour to make this process as comfortable and supportive as possible should you which to be tested or vaccinated for BBV’s.
Please see the following links for more information regarding BBV’s and what ISSU18 can offer you.
