The purpose of ICES is to provide a loan equipment service to meet the assessed needs of people with physical disabilities, acute and chronic illness.
To maximise their independence and improve their safety within the environment in which they live.
To facilitate where appropriate, swift discharge from hospital.
To allow all health care professionals to request, appropriately assessed equipment.
