25 Years Of Delivering Dialysis In Dumfries
Monday 2 November 2015 was an important anniversary in the treatment of kidney failure in Dumfries and Galloway. It marked exactly 25 years since Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary began providing dialysis locally, saving patients the 150 miles round trip to Glasgow or Edinburgh three times a week for treatment.
