Sexual Health Strategy Implementation Group

The Sexual Health Strategy Implementation Group (SHSIG) is a multi-agency group which is made up from many different representatives from many partner organisations including Health, Education, Social Services, Voluntary Sector and Community Services.  The vision of the group is to - improve the sexual health and wellbeing of the population of Dumfries and Galloway and in doing so reduce the inequalities in sexual health and therefore help create a fairer society.

The group is currently ensuring that both the local and national sexual health strategies are implemented. In November 2009 the group will also start the process of refreshing the local sexual health action plan.

The group currently meets quarterly and after each meeting the group minutes will  be posted here.

If you would like to be involved in the group please contact us.
