About the Education Centre

The Education Centre aims to be:

• Your first port of call for all your healthcare information needs.
• The region's centre of excellence for continuing education and development.
• Able to provide user friendly resources free at the point of access
• Equitable in a convenient location enabling all NHS staff to provide first class healthcare for the community.

The Centre is located on the lower ground floor of DGRI and the area is accessible to you 24 hours a day with your swipe card.

We provide a variety of services including Education & Teaching, Medical Illustration, Library Services.

Education Centre Room Bookings

To book a room in the Education Centre, please go to the Main Hippo page.  Click on the "I Want To" menu at the top and select "Book an Education Centre Room" from the drop down menu.  If you do not have access to Hippo, please email dg.educationcentre@nhs.net and a booking form will be sent to you.
