About Us
Sexual Health D&G provide clinics and drop-in sessions for men and women of all ages. The offer counselling, testing and referrals.
Confidentiality - Any personal details you give to the staff are treated in strict confidence. You choose how to receive the results of any tests you may have taken, either by letter, by telephone or in person.
Clinics provide all methods of contraception supplied free of charge: -
- condoms,
- diaphragms,
- contraceptive pill,
- emergency contraception;
- cervical screening test,
- breast self examination,
- testicular self examination,
- blood pressure check,
- body mass index checks,
- urine checks;
- advice on blood borne viruses (HIV/Aids),
- sexually transmitted infections (STIs),
- pregnancy,
- abortion
- sexual assault.

Annan: Held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday evening of every month from 6.10pm Greencroft Medical Centre, Bank Street entrance, Annan. For an appointment please telephone: (local rate) 0845 702 3687
Dumfries: At Sexual Health D&G at Nithbank, drop-in clinics from 9-10.30am for contraception, STI testing & treatment and every Monday, drop-in clinics from 4.30-6pm at Sexual Health D&G, Nithbank, STI testing & treatment only. For an appointment please telephone: (local rate) 0845 702 3687.
Stranraer: Held on 2nd and 4th Wednesday morning of every month from 10.00am at Out Patients Department, Galloway Community Hospital, Victoria Place, Stranraer, DG9 7HX .
